The Britannia Income Tax Clinic is a free, volunteer-run tax preparation service provided as part of the Canada Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). Our volunteers, trained and qualified by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), are here to help individuals and families in our community file their taxes accurately and confidently.

Before your Appoinment
Come to your appointment with all your tax documents, a piece of ID, and SIN card. Our team will help guide you through the rest.

Susan moved to the Commercial Drive neighborhood 30 plus years ago and now lives here with her husband, two kids, and two black cats.

Born in Alberta, Becky has been a resident of Vancouver since 1978. She has a business degree in finance but spent her 35 year career working in marketing and advertising. She has been very pleased to work at the tax clinic as it has allowed her to brush up on some old skills and well as meet many new people. She likes to spend her free time volunteering,

Stephan, a Grandview-Woodlands resident for over 30 years, brings his finance and software skills to volunteer roles at Britannia’s tax clinic and B-Well program. He enjoys badminton, running, and jumping rope, embracing an active, vegetarian lifestyle rooted in health and sustainability.

Agnes
Agnes is a dedicated volunteer at Britannia, fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and an avid gardener. She actively participates in various volunteer roles and events, including the B-Well, Volunteer Committee and dance programs.

Tom
Tom has been a dedicated Britannia volunteer since 2015, starting with the Kickstand Community Bike Shop Program. He’s served on the Volunteer and Finance Committees, the Britannia Foundation Board, and recently, the Britannia Board. Tom also led a seniors’ computer class and helped revive the Volunteer Income Tax Program, continuing through COVID and the successful 2024 season. He remains committed to supporting and strengthening the Britannia community.

I have lived in East Vancouver over 40 years. Our daughter attended daycare, elementary and high school in E Vancouver. I retired from teaching Early Childhood Education 10 years ago but continue to be a strong advocate for children and families. I enjoy gardening, walking, yoga, bird watching, music and reading.
